Elec Thunder Tiger Mig 29 Profile Pusher Jet

After a number of years of absence, I have decided to get back into this wonderful hobby again.
I've only flown gas powered models (sunday flyers, scale warbirds, PP "jets", stunt planes & FP helicopters) in the past and this will be my 1st. dabble into electrics & Lipo battery technology which I have to admit, I find VERY intimidating. (fortunately not all is lost, as I still have the capacity to learn, even at my age )

Intimidating or not I threw caution to the wind and purchased 2 ARF Thunder Tiger Mig 29 profile pusher prop 'jets' as a starting point. (military & aerobatic paint schemes)

Why 2 you ask? I couldn't help myself when they came down to $40 & $45 respectively, including brushless motor. (a flash of "shiny ball syndrome" )
I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and liked they way they handled and had to get myself one .... OK 2

I really didn't wan't another easy flier, warbird or stunt plane (I've had my fair share of them all), nor did I want a nimble lightning fast DF that's going to test my failing eyesight, nerves & wallet to the limit.
A "light" manageable park size profile pusher prop 'jet' with good flying characteristics across the speed envelope that an intermediate pilot could handle was my "obvious choice"..... especially considering the price!

Over the next few colder months, I will acquire all the necessary equipment and accessories I will be needing (I have to start from scratch) so I can be ready to fly by the Spring. Any pointers would be appreciated! This is where it's really going to whack my wallet I know - OUCH!

If anyone has or has had one of these models (Thunder Tiger Mig29 profile pusher), I would appreciate your input and advice. THANKS IN ADVANCE! Unfortunately there is little to no info or reviews on this model, which is somewhat frustrating & a little disconcerting.

At this point I have only purchased the ARF kits, so still need to get the servos, Brushless ESC's and batteries to complete both kits.

I will also need to get a good lipo charger and whatever else I might need for battery maintenance??? (This is where I'm completely CLUELESS!!!)
Any recommendations and/or advice would be most welcome & appreciated!

On top of all this, I also have to get a 6 channel transmitter and I think for my purposes, the Spektrum 2.4 GHZ DX6i DSMX will do the trick. (I sold all my stuff when I gave up the hobby some years back)

I'm also on the lookout for a friendly flying club as close to downtown Toronto as possible (I used to belong to Richmond Hill MAC years back)
