Btw: I got the tube out okay tonight. I was able to push the least bent tube end (Yes, BOTH wings had developed dihedral) into the fuse just enough to be able to hacksaw the other end off okay. Tube is 16 mm od & 1.5 mm wall. I thought it looked to be thicker. Well the next one will be!

Jetcrazy claimed it didn't fly as well with the dihedral!

Wow!!! Steve musta had his hands full on that one... carbon tube failure? hard landing?

Just observing but; from what I saw;
Very fast pass, ground came up quicker than expected, haul back on the elevator viola! Instant variable geometry wing.

Great save! I've never seen Mike Fritz move so fast as when he saw that and ran to the flight station to tell them, in case they hadn't noticed the wing issue.
