Dynam Receiver Compatibility

I bought a SN Hobbies Cessna 206 from a friend just for something to bang around in. I thought I would drop in a 51 crystal and use my Futaba tx. Nothing doing! I can't get it to work. The a/c came with a Dynam transmitter and a Dynam R-6P FM receiver, both on ch 21 and these work fine together. My transmitter is a Futaba 6EXP 72 MHz system on ch. 51. I have installed a "BIG" R127DF receiver in the mean time just so I don't have to carry around another transmitter.
Why can't I just replace the original 21 receiver crystal with a 51 and use it with my regular transmitter?

Re: Dynam Receiver Compatibility
Receiver could be the other shift. Can't recall but futaba and Hitec run one shift postive or Negative and JR and Airtronics the other. Dynam will fall into one of those. Also some receivers are also seperated into low band and high band.
