Don't know if anybody has seen this video before but thats quite the practical joke to play on someone. Its in German but you don't need to speak it to understand what he's thinking happened.

Re: RC bomb practical joke

Why would you want to do that? Seriously..why? Besides being dangerous, why would you blow up your "buddies" plane? If I was the owner and I found out they did this, I would shove one of those bombs down their pants and wave bye bye to their peckers.
That is one thing this hobby doesn't need, people that are that stupid and dangerous.
Gravity has a nasty way of reminding you it's a law. Usually when your screaming inverted two feet off the runway....

Re: RC bomb practical joke

This is the sort of 'Event' that our security concious friends to the SOUTH go nuts over. They will use this as an example of how they can be 'Attacked' and make more sounds about legislating our hobby out of existance.

It was bad enough when it was publicized that a RC model flew accross the Atlantic - now we are carrying ...WHAT!!??? ??:

Some people just don't understand the broader implications of what 'THEY' think is funny.
Life is either a daring adventure...
...or nothing.

Re: RC bomb practical joke

I don't get why you all are getting your panties in a bunch. They were in an unpopulated remote area. It may be stupid - that's subjective.

All I saw was a guy screwing with his buddy.

If you all want to worry about safety, then look no further than your own clubs. Stop taxiing into the pits. Stop running your giant scale airplanes up while the prop is pointing at people. Stop running your 50 size helicopters in your front yards. THOSE are the things that are ACTUALLY dangerous and nobody says boo about it.

Leave these clowns alone!

/end rant.
