Hi Guys

Now that we got the runway extension finished more guys are flying Ejets. Saturday was a fantastic day at Rideau Club for flying - light winds - Blue ski's and 20 degrees. JC been flying a 90mm Hawk in Swiss colors and its a great easy flyer. - Paul and Rob are flying Habu's.

Sorry to say I kind of wreck my little Eflite hawk on takeoff - I hit a bump got up about 6" and it settle back down hitting the edge of the grass at high speed and it practically snapped in half in the middle of the fuse.

On the good side I flew or maiden my Sapac L39 3 times. I flew with gear down not playing with gear or flaps. Landings were hot but the Sapac sprung gear worked great. Even going fast it stuck down on its main. I let the model run off into the short grass and only had to bend the mains back slightly.

Next I'll be trying getting flaps/elevator mixed - Any idea's on mix -Flaps set for about 40 degrees down - Elevator down ?

Not Happy? - Form your own Jet club "OVJ"
