You'll like building it, especially the full cf treatment! So how light does he want to go because I can see 32 pounds easy. No good for IMAC but sure would be a floater for 3D!

I want it for IMac Lee. We're not going to lightened it up to much. The CF is mostly to make it a little more rigide and for a little bling factor a well. I usually have batteries big enough to run a small electric car anyway.

Can't wait to start!! This will be pretty much a stock build with full CF treatment on the fuse cross-bracing

Sure It'll be used just for practicing IMAC for that 1 event per year Later this summer, I'll take a video of your "IMAC Practicing" and will quote this post, LOL

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Well I screwed up my back sanding the wings of all things so didn't get much accomplished last night. I did line the canister tunnel with some light 1/16 balsa and finished capping the rudder and the wheelpant plates are glued in, so all was not lost!
Hopefully get back to covering the bottoms of the wings this weekend, and plans are to start covering the fuse next week. I'm drawing up several schematics for the SBus and will poll you experts on what will work. My system has some redundancy built in but stil looks simple and clean

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Well after a horrible night of no sleep and agonizing pain< I got on some anti inflammatories and physio and I'm back on track...just no sanding this weekend
So instead I made up my cannister mounts, finished the cuffs, worked a little more on the cowl duct and filled in a bunch of dings and dents with spackle! Tomorrow the cannister mounts will be fitted and then fuelproofed along with the tunnel and I will get the pants and wheels on.
This week I should have the wing bottoms done and start covering on the fuse. I'll post some progress pics tomorrow.
