Carden ships on Monday. Both Dennis and Caroline are wonderful to deal with and have expedited things so I don't have to do a little (7hour) road trip to get it!
Should be here next saturday and build starts soon after. Got the West systems epoxy for the cores and vac bag stuff coming too. Lots of stuff to get finalized yet such as insulate and vapour barrier the garage shop I built.
I hope to get it in the bones ready to cover by Christmas and cover in the early spring. I'll keep you posted.

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Hi Trev. Yes the government got their 13% but thanks to Craig I saved 7 hours in driving and 100 bucks in gas..what a nice guy!
I am madly trying to get the work area finished and get started on this puppy! I too give credit to Caroline for packing this kit, all I can say is I am not worthy! LOL!
In the pics are the boxes with some added bling, my white rose tailwheel, Carden's tailwheel springs and the G2 gear is in there somewhere. Kathy says our garage looks like a Dexter movie set...well there will be surgery there soon...heh heh

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

After putting in insulation and vapor barrier for two hours I had to open the motor box and have a look see. Well now sitting on the bench is almost a complete motor box that is staring me in the face! The CAD is incredible and it just fits together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle. Ok, don't get excited yet..I put it back in the box and put it away until next week, then look out!
I can see some places to lighten but not much. Obviously Dennis has been modifying as people build so that much that I've read from BBW, BBT ect is now being incorporated in this latest kit.

Awesome Lee!!

Dennis is an incredible guy! The PRO motorbox has got soooooo many design mods over the 126". Not saying there's anything wrong with the 126", but the PRO box is ultra stiff and very light. I also really like how it has an extra former on the motorbox versus the 126" !!!
