Guess shrinkage happens when wings get cold too, cause the wings look pretty good this morning after warming up in the downstairs workshop should only take a few minutes with the heat gun and some pressing to get just right. I still hate Monokote

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Well as mentioned before all the little finish up things are slowing things down, but the end is near! I made the final templates for the covering and finished up the canister tunnel and fuel proofed it. I'll post pics tomorrow of the finished product and will start covering the fuse tomorrow.
I should have this bad boy all covered by Friday, just in time for our seminar on Saturday.

I'll be doing the painting myself, but will probably wait for warmer weather like mid March. It will be PPG base coat/clear coat or maybe just Tremclad...we'll see

Why do I pick such complicated schemes? Anyway wing number one is done except for checkers! Amazing what you can do when you get up at five am

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Thanks guys. I do think it will look really nice in the air especially once the checkers, pinstripping, and graphics are on. Its all about the show!

Tonight I cover the fuse bottom and hopefully finish the other wing. Ran out of sky blue for the fuse so have to wait for my next shipment...sure eats up the Ultacote on these big babies

Re: Carden PRO Built by Lee

Ready for the seminar and assembled my PRO in its entirety minus the cuffs. It sure fills the garage! Funny thing though it doesn't look that big to me anymore..guess next one will have to be 50%
I like the kevlar floorpan...bulletproof!
