Hi everyone, can anyone help me! I fly a hangar 9 Tolido Special with an e flite 46 and a 6oamp esc, everything has been fine until i programmed a new model into my TX (Futaba T7C ) i am not sure what i did but when i go back to my T/Special the motor arms but i have no throttle i use a seperate battery for servos, i have the RS 232 Linking on my pc but when i use it it comes up with error, i purchased a new 60 amp ESC only to have all the same problems, is it possible that i did something in my TX to stop the throttle working?

Re: e flite esc problem

When you added the new model, was the Toledo erased, meaning you have used all the radios memory?

I found when I programmed the throttle on my Futaba, it was almost always reversed. Hold your airplane and move the throttle, and see if it arms. Is your throttle trim set to zero?

Do the e-flite esc's have an arming feature? On my Castle Creation esc's, they have a safety feature, when the throttle is in the mid position, and you plug the battery in, the esc arms, but the motor does not do anything until the throttle is moved to idle, then the airplane is ready to go.

Good luck, Daren

Re: e flite esc problem

Futaba needs you to set the throttle channel direction to REVERSE.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!

Re: e flite esc problem

Sounds to me like your throttle is reversed (as cougar already mentioned) or your throttle trim is not set low enough.

Did you mess with your travel adjustment (TA)? you can also cause yourself problems by setting the travel adjustment the wrong way.

Reset your TA to 100%, then lower your throttle trim all the way. Check it.

If that fails, reverse the throttle and repeat.
