Call these guys and see who gives you the best rate to bring it across the border (I found all of them in a quick google search). I'm betting one of these brokers will have a warehouse in Calais, Maine you can ship to. You will need the box dimensions and weight. Then see how much it is to DHL it to your door from there.
I'm betting it'll be cheaper than what your looking at now.
That's what I've done with all my 3DHS planes and it works great. I'm in Alberta mind you, and it's saved me a few hundred bucks for sure.
