proboat 1800kv current draw?

Has anyone data logged the current draw on a stock PB 1800kv brushless, I'm wondering if a grimracer 4255 will work with a seaking 120 on 4s and 5s.
I know the stock esc is 60a and will work on 5s with the stock prop, so would I be able to run the 4255 on 5s with the new 120 a esc??.

^^ I don't see anywhere on that page that calculates amp draw for a given motor/prop/hull type/cell count?

You can run the 4255 with the stock motor and ESC on 4s, so that'll definitely work with the 120a ESC. I haven't tried, but I would think you'll be safe with the 4255 on 5s with a 120a ESC.

Re: proboat 1800kv current draw?

Your limitation on 5s will most likely be the motor. I would start small on the prop and work your way up to where you hope to be.
