i saw someone asking 250.00 for a used mm b/l combo. (1/
new their the same price. i should know i bought 2 this summer,
the same for 1/10.
WHAT AM I MISSING?

I guess that depends on where you're getting your pricing from. Great Hobbies, arguably canada's largest RC retailer, sells the combo for $370 so $250 sounds fair to me.

not confused or miss understood i have a b44 and a b4 and both have mamba max pros with 5700 motor and a losi 8e with a mamba monster 2650 b/l system.
the 1/8 system cost me 250.00 +tax and max pro was 150.00+tax

That's a pretty hot deal then since even the big US website are $330.

from time to time this type of thread gets started. It is of course the buyer's right to ask what he feels he needs out of a product (and keep it if it doesn't sell) and it is the buyer's right to refuse to pay the price and buy elsewhere. To assume that the sellers NEEDS to sell the item at any price is presumptious. Not a real big issue, what's the point of this thread?

i am not looking to sell or buy. their are alot of things i don't know or understand.

I believe the system went up approx $60 which is huge. I herd it has to deal with magent material beening in limited supply??

And $250 is a killer price!

A little bit of research checking into current pricing would have answered the question. There have only been a few times when I've commented about selling price, the last time was when someone was trying to con people into believing he had paid $500 for a $170 item and was then trying to sell it for $450. With the ease of the internet now, the question on how much an item is new is easy to answer. Don't rely on what you think you know, it takes a minute to do a search.
