There are FBL heads available from MicroHeli (and a few other vendors). Your electronics should be capable since you have the "S" version (3axis gyro).

Alternatively, you can also go "all out" and upgrade your electronics to the "micro-rondo walkera edition" fbl unit and go spektrum w/2s lipo.

There are no "kits" per say, but I'd be happy to offer advice based on what you wants / needs / budget are.

Re: Anyone done upgrades to a Walkera 4G6S?

Great discussion so far but... unless you're really have issues with it I'd look at flying it stock for now. Just put some expo into it and see if that tones it down. The FBL head doesn't actually make it much more stable but does simplify the head. My V120D02 does not fly much more stable than the 4G6S so don't actually pay money to upgrade if some expo works. Save that money for a future heli or spare parts.

I understand that a lot of people just like to upgrade things but don't do it for the sake of doing it. Fly the heli stock first and then if you're not happy look at the upgrades.

Re: Anyone done upgrades to a Walkera 4G6S?

It is getting better all the time the more I tweak it. If the electronics are capable for a FLB head and having a flybar is not an advantage I will machine one up. If slop is the biggest problem because I do notice there is a fair amount of play due to linkage then to eliminate some moving parts makes sense. I does seem to be a little mushy on the controls and I notice the mixing arms have a lot of play. I haven't toned down the expo because with the play I need all the range it comes with stock. While I'm waiting on my own FLB head I'm going to try and get all the slop out of the moving parts so this is going to be a fun winter project. Chang the more I mess with this heli the more I like it. The plug is a real problem though, I'm waiting on replacement plugs that will be easier to work with.

On my original 4G6, I changed plugs to microdean and installed upper mixing arms from Gaui to make FB to more more free and eliminate slop. Also used buna dumpeners from - less slopy head. Oh, and of course motor from stock to outrunner.
