I have a Shadow 1 6ch synthesized rx. It came in a package of stuff, but it appears it needs a special programmer to bind it to your Tx. Does anyone know if this Rx is worth spending the $ on the programmer, or if someone has a programmer, would you be interested in it?

Re: Sombra labs 72MHz Rx
I just sold my Shadow 3 with the programmer a couple of weeks ago, otherwise I would lend it to you .
As for worth, these are a bit long in the tooth and a little harder to program than my Bergs with the PC link, but in the end they have more options. It just takes a bit of effort to fully understand the instructions and sequence.
A) The ability to program any channel within either the 50, 72 or 75MHz bands. No crystals required. Auto shift detect.
b) You have the option to send ANY channel to pins 5 and 6.
My Shadow 3 also had the ability to "Daisy-Chain" receivers, setting a second to cover transmitter outputs 8 through 14 with three failsafe modes. Don't believe yours can do that.
In my own experience these were excellent receivers, far more powerful and lighter than anything else out there. If you have use for it hope you can find a programmer.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!
