Flysky TH 9X Battery Holder and Hatch Size

Got my Flysky TH9X the other day, went to put in the Ni-MH rechargeables and could not get the battery cover back on. !!!!!!!!
It seems like the 8, AA holder is not designed to fit in if the AA cells are at 14.5mm, the maximum spec size of an AA cell. A standard 9.6 volt pack has no plastic holder, only a heatshrink cover, so it will fit. If I can find AA cell that are close to 13.5mm, the minimum size diameter for an AA cell, it should close, and not break the hatch cover.
It looks like all the 11.1 volt LIPO packs fit with no problem, but 2 diodes should be placed is series on the + feed wire to keep the voltage cutoff point in range, and prevent charging through the radio. The voltage regulators in some radio TX's can NOT go over 12 volts, or they will over heat and shut off.
It is common for 11.1 volt LIPO's to get to 12.4 volts or more.
