Fantastic! I was wondering when someone would adapt the multi-copter / multi-axis stabilization technology to a giant or "full" scale model. The industrial applications alone would be lucrative.

I think this http://www.unrealaircraft.com/wings/...r_platform.php is a simpler/safer platform, but for some reason it never caught on. This platforms flight is controlled intuitively by the pilot (you just intuitively know how and when to lean to direct it) and a throttle controls lift. It is rather like a 3d Segway.
