Re: I'm looking to buy SBACH 30CC which one?

Martin: "To each his own" but I am impressed with the 30 c.c. Pilot RC planes. I have their 30 c.c. Yak 54 and really like how it flies (I am not a 3D flyer) and am equally impressed with the quality of the parts and craftsmanship of those who put it together. A friend of mine purchased their SBach last year and I was more than impressed with it. There is a supplier in Markham, Ontario who gives good service and pricing (Paragon Hobbies - Ray is the owner). . . go to Pilot RC's or Paragon's web site and check them out, I think you will be impressed. Cheers

Re: I'm looking to buy SBACH 30CC which one?

i wouldn,t buy a pilot sbach,i had one a 36% sbach and with only five flights the wing ripped out and i lost my plane.theres also a thread on fg about stab incedence problems on their extra 260,s from 25%- 40%.there made light and are built with cheap chinese crap wood.i liked my sbach and it flew well but after what happend and all the other issues pilot is having i wouldn,t touch one.just my 2 cnts.

life begins under 10ft and ends at ground zero.
fly it like you hate it.
troy built sponsored pilot.

Re: I'm looking to buy SBACH 30CC which one?

I have the SlipStream and Max's statement is correct .... clean & crisp on the controls ... does exactly what you tell it to do .... Don't know about the other manufacturers but I'd buy this one again ..... Just for laughs I reset the trip numbers on my car GPS and popped it in for a flight ..... came back with max. speed 194kph ....
I also have their 30cc MXS .... again same story ... quality kits ....
Mine have OS120AX's in them .... 4S or Gas will be a bit different I'd guess .... I`d be suprised if you were not satisfied with it .... but ... to each their own ....

Re: I'm looking to buy SBACH 30CC which one?

I got one of the Goldwing Sbach 342 version 3 Orange & black direct from Goldwing.
NOTE: this was before Great Hobbies thought about bringing them in
All I can say is what a fantastic flyer.
DLE 30 v2 with a Jtec Pitts inverted muffler
Xoar laminated 19x8 prop

In the hands of a more experienced pilot than me
knife edges w/o needing coupling etc...
inverted => I even had no problems
climbs forever with the DLE 30 in it
couldn't belive how well (easily) it balanced.
