Optical ignition cutoff setup
I'm putting a DLE 20 in my Hangar 9 Pulse 125 XT. I configured my optical ignition kill setup tonight and want to make sure I did it right. The cutoff transmitter was pretty straightforward - I puzzled a lot over the receiver end, though. Here's the component:
Here's how I wired it (click the image to see the full-sized view): The instructions state that you can connect the switch/charge lead on the ignition cutoff receiver to a battery or a mechanical switch - I'm doing the latter. The instructions don't mention the ignition cutoff receiver's charge lead at all. My setup makes sense to me - but then, I've never done this before. |

I've been using these for some time....your install looks good to me...you can check your installation by measuring voltage going to the ignition from the unit...(as well as the on/off function)....ron
