Gas Red-Line Oil

Just a headsup for anyone using Red-Line oil.

I was in my local Canadian Tire store the other day and noticed that they had a sign over the Red-Line oil stating that it was discontinued.

I knodon't think this means Red-Line is stopping production but it looks like CT won't be carrying it any more.

I bought the last two bottles they had for $10/ea.

If you get your Red-Line from CT you might want to drop by your local store and snag what they have left.

Re: Red-Line Oil

Jim if you need some I know where there is a dealer locally here. I would have to get a case at a time.
I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.

Re: Red-Line Oil

I'm sure they can still order Redline in for you if you request it, they just won't stock it any longer.

Re: Red-Line Oil

I wondered how long it would take before CTC dropped it.
There are a few things going against it.

First off, the merchandising and marketing is terrible.
They have it hidden on a shelf down low in the ATV section. Not on the wall of oil in the oil section.

Second, more and more motors and equiptment is coming out 4 stroke, not 2 stroke. Especially ATV's where the oil is merchandised ...Duhhhhhh !!!!!

And for the remaining 2 stokes out there... weedwackers, chain saws etc..
Those people look at the price and say "no way" Why do I need a high quality Racing oil in my weed wacker ????
Thats even if they happen to stumble across it, in the ATV section on the second shelf from the bottom

I live too far north to run across the border and get some. So unless I know someone going down that can bring some back I'm hooped.

Nobody will ship dangerous goods across the border....I tried

Brad you're totally right. CT is extremely stupid in where they place it in their store!!
Movin' on up to the top-shelf..3W!!!
