Problems with Slimline

Well, we're up to 3 months and counting now. In October I ordered the threaded adapter and O-rings to fit the Pitts muffler onto the Saito 125a mounted in Rare Bear. As of the last conversation I had with them the first two must have been lost in the mail and likely #3 as well. The owner says he suspect this is due to my being in Canada.
Has anyone else run into this sort of thing before? I cannot be the first international customer for Slimline.

Re: Problems with Slimline
Middle Americans not respecting our postal system... Happens all the time.
I once had Precision Aerobatics say they did not receive a faulty speed control I sent back. At least they offered me a new one for 50% off. LOL Ever since then, I make sure to have either the tracking or customs numbers. Did you get the part # from Slimline? You might be able to cancel you order and get it from a Canadian distributor. Re: Problems with Slimline
I suspect that size should have gone by regular mail. I have had lots of stuff sent to me over the years by companies and private purchases and cross my fingers, everything has always shown up using USPS. Shortest time is about 5 days, longest time is about 2 1/2 weeks, average time is about 10 days.
Everything from motors, transmitters, gaskets and most recently a dummy radial that came in late December, in 7 calendar days (over Christmas). Slimline is a quality comany so you have to assume they are being honest. Expensive things, I usually have them put insurance on it (over $100) and just have it sent regular mail, ground. When it is insured apparently it is tracked from the sending end. It's actually faster than putting a tracking number and have it go Air. Go figure. Whenever I buy US, I always insist the sender send it USPS, regular mail, ground, or I won't buy it.

Re: Problems with Slimline
This is by far my first purchase and I agree about the USPS.
The total was approx $25 so not that financially valuable. However, the 125a has its own unique exhaust port size. I am in the last stage of construction and stuck till this arrives. The kingdom for want of a nail, etc. Don't have the adapter number.

Re: Problems with Slimline
I sent a brand new Saito in for warrant y in October, they say there still waiting for parts to fix it???? Now that's SERVICE!!! I am sure you'll get it in due time and at least it will be new. I can't blame the postal system here only the crappy service centre.

Re: Problems with Slimline
Well, after 4 months and quite a few Emails and calls the adapters FINALLY arrived! They threw in a new side mount for my other 125 for my troubles.
Phew. At least Rare Bear is back on the build table. Now just have to figure out how to hold the muffler in position.
