Anyone try these yet?

I'm in the hunt for an alternative to the Canister concept... really hate the header flex pipe waiting for a leak mess IMO

Re: Snufflers

I have a Jtec wrap around pitts style muffler with snufflers on a DL50. It is quiet but required a large cutout in the cowl to fit over the snufflers. The airframe its in was not canister compatible, given the choice I think I would try the canister or tuned pipe option.

Re: Snufflers

I have on a ZDZ80, they sounded great (deeper tone than normal and a little quieter). They are a little heavier than normal mufflers, but easier to mount than canisters or pipes. JTec has great service as well.

Re: Snufflers

I used to run a set-up like that on my Quadra 40...very quiet and pleasant sound as I remember. We had noise restrictions at the field and I had no problems meeting the restrictions.
