Hi All, I was out at the local field ( Truro, N.S.) on Jan 30th with my Fox Dust Devil. The ground was bare and it was sunny and there was some interesting thermal activity. Anyway I had a couple of good flights.
Then it snowed and got cold. I've ordered a Radian Pro for the Spring. It will be my first full house plane.
I hope to fly at least once a month through the rest of the winter.

Re: Wondering

Ok was out again this morning little more wind and positively freezing at -1 Then finally sun came out and temperature went up. I fly near the lake but even with the wind, there were weak thermals, could not float my 2 meter, but was averaging 8 to 9 minutes per climb anyway. However then with the 48" Dino I got 17 minute flight on a single climb. The light wing loading really helps in this weather.
