Careful with this,I have heard of reports of people getting burned by this while using it in the tx glove, just use care.

Re: I am defenetly ordering this!

Yep - I'm one. Tape the sensor very securely to the pad - right at the element - and don't use more than 2S. On 3s, mine ran full open and I had to land my plane with hot elements on the back of my hands in the transmitter mitt. I had the choice, dump the plane or take the heat. This thing was designed to warm RC car tires and would never get CSA approval for use on or near the body.
Be careful.

I thought about this device before, but I am currently happy just with my transmitter glove. I figure if my hands need the heater, my other body parts would feel cold and uncomfortable as well. I usuallly try to fly in above freezing conditions. Maybe, one day I'll need the heater.

Re: I am defenetly ordering this!

I have one of these also in conjunction with a TX glove. I also taped the sensor to the center of one of the pads between 2 of the elements.

I do use a 3S battery though. Never had a problem so far, but I only run it between 40 and 50. Its not always on that way, and when it comes on, it gives just enough heat to warm the inside of the glove to keep your hands comfortable. Not "toasty-warm" by any means; just comfortable. That's good enough for me.

the entire kit is Velcro'd into the glove to keep it from shifting. I have little Velcro pads on the heating elements, on the controller and another one for the lipo when it is in use. I keep the controller and the lipo on the extreme outside of the glove on either side so it does not interfere with the use of the transmitter in the glove.

You must always unplug it when you are not actually flying. I also use a low-voltage battery alarm with this set-up. a 2200 3S pack doesn't last too long. 2 or 3 flights and then you have to swap it for another battery.

I haven't had any bad experiences with this arrangement so far
