Spring approaches and as the snow melts, I seriously start working to get the "big fuel drinking guys" out again.

I get to say "adios" to the Canadian cold, the cabin fever and the online carving that always goes with it.

Cheer up folks, for 'tis the time to celebrate and have some fun.

I'd sure love to hear how the rest of you are celebrating, gearing up, "wadja makes", etc...

Re: As spring approaches....

I gotta think this is just a temporary lull. All the same I plan to capitalize on it. I'm gonna get some of the smaller stuff out and go fly in the snow while it's warm

I don't trust old-man winter. I am loving the break we are getting so far this winter, but to me it aint over until April gets here

Enjoy it, as we went from no snow yesterday, but today we woke up to snow falling and it is still coming down. Must have at least 6 to 8 inches again in the yard... Back to building for another week or so. Spring canít get here fast enough for me.

Re: As spring approaches....

February tends to be our snowiest month. I won't start to relax till March 1. Even then we sometimes get hammered pretty bad until early April.

Been working on indoor flyers for the most part. Have a small Guillow's P-51 mostly done, slowly attempting to make it an indoor r/c bird. Also "discovered" Stevens Aero kits! Built their DH.53 back in December. What an awesome experience that was! She flies pretty good too

Re: As spring approaches....

Last Sunday, I flew glow on the lake sitting on my pail. Both ski's and wheels. 2 weeks ago I test flew my 80cc twin on wheels. Not looking to good for the ag industry yet this year!

Re: As spring approaches....

I got a few projects done, and a few fixed

Finnaly finnished mt Supercub, and got a couple test flights on it

Built a Kadessna (bashed Kadet Sr)

Fixed my Habu, and gave it a crappy paint job

fixed a few issues with my Stuka and got it ready to test fly

designed and am building a Mig25 that should be ready for spring....

Electrified my DO28 Skyservant,

and I still have to give all my others a CofA for the 2012 flying season.
