Good one! I printed it off!

Re: Article on fuel "facts"

I have a print out from Omega Fuels:
The pink stuff 30% of the oil is castor oil. All nitro content fuels have 17% oil, including 4 - stroke and heli. Jet 7% & 15% both have 20% oil.
The green stuff lists the oils as low, multi and ultra-high. The 10% & 15%, 4 stroke MV and heli MV are all 18% oil.
The heli blends use all of the different oils and the oil content varies from 17% to 22%.
The AERO Blends all use 17% ultra-high oil except 10% & 15% MV which uses 18% oil
4 stroke standard is 17% ultra-high and their 4 stroke MV is 18% multi oil.
Their pro pattern all four have 20% ultra-high oil.

That long winded explanation does not seem to fit here. It seems when they use synthetic oil we need more of it and the hotter the engine the more oil it needs. Many of the older engines when run on modern fuels will take the big end out of the conrod or seize up. If your engine is putting out black oil, that is the engine destroying it self.
