Re: Tartan Twin 77

No prop hub and it has a pull starter. Obviously was not meant for an aircraft project. Does anybody know if prop hubs are available for this engine and what it would take to convert to an aircraft engine?

Re: Tartan Twin 77

This is a commercially available model airplane engine that came with the pull start. World Engines use to distribute them way back when and they came in both glow and gas ignition versions. They also used a multiple bolt prop hub which was advanced for it's time although this one is missing it's hub. It's called a 77 but it's actually a 44cc I believe, as the same company sold lots of 22cc gas and glow engines with the same cylinders on them. Hope you don't mind me adding a few comments for clarification.
