I've been ordering sense 1/30/ 2010!! 57 orders later and honestly not one hitch! I'm afraid to add it up, someone told me DON'T DO IT lol

I think i had 1 6CH orangeRX DOA.

Battery's always come from Swiss post now, as HK post stopped shipping lipos!
It has always taken about 3 weeks. One of my last orders of some 4S 3000mahs for the 1400mm epo Sbach from them, only took 13 days...
I could not belive it! haha

The plane itself took 5 weeks, which was painstaking, but it was a JIT item and that takes longer! and i knew what i was in for.
During one of my late night chats with online support, i asked what JIT stands for!!(Just In Time) I had a chuckle at that!

Waiting on my Turnigy 1/10 Brushless 2WD Desert Racing Buggy
Its processed in MISSISSAUGA as of yesterday, so hoping to have it by Friday!!

And as for the EMS, don't waste your hard earned coins!

All in all HK has been great!!

What goes up!!!....must come down!!!

Re: Hobby King shipping

Hi Guys;

My parcel from SDS Hobby in China was just delivered by the post office to my door. No taxes, no duty, no handling charges, just sign for it. Ordered on line April 19th. Postal service is the only way to go in my books for anything I buy from anywhere. Only exception I ever made was Tiger Direct because they guaranteed there would be no extra charges from USPS and was aware of the rip off that goes on in Canada. It came no extra charges too.

They aren't going to change a tariff code because of what we talk about on here... There is no duty on toys (which include rc models) so take it easy. The $8 is not new, used to be $5 a couple years ago but changed to $8 early last year I think? Whether they charge it and GST/HST is up to them on whether it's worthwhile.

Since LiPo are considered dangerous by air transporters, they may take longer and very often shiped non direct. So if you order something oversea and it contains a LiPo you will wait a long time. Always order and ship LiPos on a different order and by itself.
Let me know how it work

Well, my last HK order took a grand total of 10 days to reach my door.....could not be happier. I also placed an order the same day with a hobby store here in Canada, and as of yet I have not recieved the shipping confirmation or recieved the order. So, Hobby King is making our home stores look pretty bad

You can fly Hitec or use the other "low tech" stuff!!
