I used a RCLander on/off switch that plugs directly into a rx port then I plugged in the lights from Hobbyking directly into the output of the switch. Flick the corresponding tx switch and the lighrs go on/off as required.

That said I cant find them on the site right now. Maybe you can email Philip at pw-rc to find out when more will be in stock.

There is also the Turnigy rx controlled switch but it takes some soldering skills to make it work effectively. I think I uploaded a schematic to the 'files' tab under the product on the HK site.

You can do the same with the electronic switch, The separate battery ground is connected directly and the switch controls the positive side.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!
