I am in the process making up plugs & molds so I can have Fiberglass
cowls on my aircraft. If anyone is interested I can make up a cowl for you too.

Cost is 40.00 per cowl plus shipping or mailing
These are full cowls and will be one piece
List so far is

Top Flite 1/5 P-51
Pico/Platt 1/6 Spitfire
Pico/Platt 1/5 Spitfire

Also getting some epoxy resin and 3/4 oz matt or glass to cover
these airplanes. I will update my progress.

Contact me if you are interested.

Re: Spit & P51 Fiberglass Cowls

Great way to go, epoxy far superior to polyester. I have the Dave Platt 1/5 Spit, come to think of it, I haven't even looked at the cowl. Will let you know if I'm in the market. Now, if you need to be busy, do some Vaillancourt Hurricane, Typhoon stuff, and Ziroli B-25 and P-38 parts! I could send a pile of business your way. Be sure to post some pics, and don't forget there's always market for the radiatiors, blisters, exhaust ports, etc!

Re: Spit & P51 Fiberglass Cowls

Are you interested in making the cowl and wheel pants for the Royal kit Curtiss P-6E Hawk? I could use a couple sets. Please let me know and we could go over the details. Russ
