Just got this in the mail yesterday and thought I would share initial thoughts.

Arrived well packed with no damage.

Foam is fairly good with a few rough spots that can be easily sanded. Plastic reinforcements that are glued on are 8/10 for being a bit crooked but nothing fatal.

Decal application is 6/10. Had to cut the decals at the flap hinge line and remove for re-application later. They come off easy.

Linkages are a bit sloppy but should be easy to deal with. Needs a complete run through of controls to ensure there are no more loose things like I already found on the aileron linkage to servo connection.

Battery compartment is big and will handle 2000mah no problem. Have yet to check prop balance and test power system for static thrust. As light as it is it would probably fly on rubber power.

Manual is 1/10 and the only useful info was how long it takes the included glue to dry and how to trim the tail for horizontal stab installation.

The worst part is the control surface hinging on the wing. The fibreglass tape method of hinges is not bad on it's face and I have used it in the past on small models. The quality of installation of them is horrific. They do not fair into the wing at all and the flap decals inhibited movement. I removed the control surfaces comepletely and will re-do. Have not decided how just yet.

It could likely do with a strip of fibreglass tape on the bottom of the wing to strenghten it a bit. Will decide that when I get them bolted on with the struts and gauge the strength.

Bottom line?: For 98CAD to my door I would buy another without question. Will be a great fun-toy for early mornings before the wind comes up.

Electric flying is pretty much seeing how close to a dead short you can run without setting it on fire.
