Some people will plunge the foam in boiling hot water but you can melt the foam from the heat coming up the sides of the pot. The foam cells will expand to their original shape. Use the back of a large metal spoon to smooth out flat, the surface foam that has expanded. On any broken foam, Kicker on one side and regular CA on the other side. Glue back together, reinstall electronics and go fly.

Go out and buy the Ultra Jet. So you can compare the two and store them with your three Bombers.

POWER DIVE at 120mph you think you can fix that

Iv'e had mine in power dives, my elevator seemed dead lucky for me I had hight to slow down enough for the ele. to react, servos may not be strong enough.

Re: sad day

I have HS 81MG servos Hank but last year I had a small mishap. Landed nice but just before it quit sliding across the field the model leaped up a bit and came down on the one wing tip ripping out the elevon.
I repaired it but I'm thinkin that was the cause.

Regarding repairing Chris, it just wouldn't be worth the time....this model was destroyed. They are also so sensitive at high speeds that it would never fly straight again.
I definately got my money's worth out of this one, time for a fresh airframe........with a bigger motor

Re: sad day

Sorry to hear that, from a favorite yet.

My attitude to crashes was to start repairs AS SOON as you get home,
sit down with a 6 pack with a movie going.
if completely demolished, look up a favorite on youtube, and start a new project RIGHT AWAY
