Onyx 235 charger overcharging LiPo's?

Hi everyone, I am new to electric flight and Lipo batteries. I've just bought 2 1800 Mah 3s 30C packs and the Onyx 235 charger. While charging with the balancer plugged in the cell voltages go up to 4.26 each on the screen. Is this normal - I thought 4.2 volts was the cut-off? I have an analog voltmeter and it looks like there is 12.7 v from the packs, but it's hard to read accurately. Do I have a bad charger? There is no way to adjust the cut-off voltage manually on this charger and it is setup to charge Lipo's.
Many thanks in advance for any insight offered,
