Absolutely! If we don't sell all the aircraft that we want to sell, minus our select retirement fleet, we'll bring them along for the trip, and hopefully sell along the way. We'd love to meet people that have supported us in watching the Hurricane Project, and check out as many R/C Clubs, events, and meet as many new friends as we can along the way!

Re: Really Giant Scale Hurricane

Bottom of the right wing tip is sheeted, sanded, and filled, quick look at it tomorrow, and then Leeann will get the paint done. Saturday, we flip the wing over, and finish the upper leading edge, sheet the tip, sand, fill, etc, then paint. Saturday, no matter what, lol, right wing will be done. Next step is test fitting both wings to the fuse!

Re: Really Giant Scale Hurricane

Hurricane's right wing tip is done on the bottom, hopefully we can get the manpower tomorrow AM to flip it over. Bit of work to do on the topside wing tip, and leading edge, then, by COB tomorrow, it's done. That's the last major component! Hopefully within a week we'll get the wings installed temporarily on the Hurricane, do the weight and balance, and of course take lots of photos.

Re: Really Giant Scale Hurricane

We finished the bottom of the wing, and then the work crew showed up to flip it over. Got the leading edge sanding all done, and the support blocks glued in place to support the wing sheeting on the tips. Leeann finished the second coat of paint on the wing, but with a scheduled power outage on the base, we couldn't finish the tip. We'll get that done tomorrow morning. While Leeann painted, I carried on with the ailerons. Tomorrow, I'm bringing in my band saw, disc/belt sander, etc, so I can do all the leading edge ribs for the ailerons, then they get handed over to the metal shop for the leading edge, and John Webber for the fabric work. Once they're out of the way, I'll get cruising on the propellers, and the radiator.

Re: Really Giant Scale Hurricane

Right wing tip got it's sheeting today, then sanding, filling, and paint. It's now done! Also finished off the front half of the right landing gear door. There's a small fairing to add on the back portion, then it can be painted. Started assembling the left gear door.

Re: Really Giant Scale Hurricane

Thanks! Mad rush, trying to get it done prior to Christmas. Still have to finish framing the canopy and windscreen, and then get the plexiglass installed, finish props and spinner, exhausts, belly pan, radiator, and the stab fairings. It will be a very busy November.
