Re: ZDZ WALBRO CARBS Where to buy?

I bought this engine from a fellow who bought it from someone else who bought it from we think the original owner. Only the first owner used the engine for a couple of tanks of gas. He was an older fellow who was scared of the power of the engine. The other two owners sold it because it would not fit the planes they were thinking of using it in.
So it's history is vague.
Today I fnally found a dealer who had WJ kit for it. I took off the Welsh Plug (carefully from what you said) and I am now re-cleaning it in a ultra sound cleaner (using Carb Cleaner).
I am off for vacation tomorrow for a week, so once I get home I will put it together with the new kit and see if it works better.
I also am ordering a new Carb (as a backup for this engine and my DLE 111) or for this ZDZ 100 if this repair doesn't help.
Thanks for your insight and I'll post the results the middle of next week.
Have to go my wife's yelling to get the car packed as we leave at 3:30 am tomorrow.
