It's a high current power bus integrated directly into the RX:

The AR9110 PowerSafe™ receiver is designed for models using multiple servos that draw excess current or multiple high-torque servos, such as giant-scale airplanes and jet models. It features a robust power bus designed to manage high-current loads, as well as dual 16AWG battery input leads with EC3 connectors for use with larger battery packs. This makes it possible to support high-current systems straight through the AR9110 without the need for a separate power system.

Cool Re: Spektrum Receiver

Very neat device, simple and ultra reliable.... will allow you to combine all 4 wing servos into the 1 wing channel and also allow you to trim each suface to perfection ! It supports separate battery power if you want but then it does not use power from your rx it is one or the other. They sell for about $40 new WAY better choice over Y leads in bipe wings, if you enough enough channels and a radio that can mix the wing servos then that would be first prize but if not.. Matchbox !!

I don't like lipos, cause you need to regulate them or use HV servos. Look into Life04 or A123 with power safe RX. Keep it simple...2 A123/Life04 batts into PS RX, failsafe switch comes with the RX and your done.

Good luck.
