Old airtronics FM Receiver compatibility?

Had a question about an old airtronic receiver.
Are all black case the old style non Z connector?

In reply to your question, yes all the black case receivrs are the old black plug, therefore the positive (red wire) is on the outside of the plug. Airtronics changed to using the blue or Z plug about 8 plus years ago to be compitible to the rest of the industry.

As a Airtronics rep and dealer, there are adapter plugs available so that you can use these older receivers with new servos or vise - versa to blue receivers.
