Micro RTF components

About 5 years ago, Walmart sold several versions of
RTF models, that used differential thrust from 2 motors
on the wings--Tyco Skyforce and Silverlit Xtwin.
The models were mostly throw-aways, and the Tyco series
had range issues, but I found the components worked very
well in a series of scratchbuilts, including my Wright flyer
shown which is a great performer and realistic.
I think there is a market niche for the experienced flyer here,
and am really surprised the Chinese RTF people havent gotten
I was thinking of getting into this myself, but where and how
would I get the electronics? I tried contacting Tyco and Silverlit.
Does anybody have any idea who I could contact?
(Before somebody beats me to it)

Re: Micro RTF components
I highly doubt you will be able to buy the individual components. I had several of these models from Silverlit and Airhogs... sold them off over a year ago.
IMHO, the Silverlit stuff is old tech now. The 3.9g AR6400 brick used in the Parkzone/E-Flite micro's is where it's at. You get true proportional control and a wide variety of motor and servo options. Used/damaged PZ micros are easy to come by... I picked up a couple last last hear for $30-$50.
Alternatively, you can get the Supermicro series from Hobbyking:
