I was there when they filmed it and it was lots of fun. Calvin did a great job and the multi chapter is already repaired and back in the air.

Thanks guys! It was a lot of fun to do the interview!

The crash was not a big deal because they got the footage they needed. The problem was that the tail servo's horn came off because of the way I had it mounted. All it took to fix it was two sticks of wood and a bunch of cable ties. It was flying again later that day. I like the way they edited it - they worked it in nicely. Having the on board video really gave a neat perspective.

I think it presented our hobby in a good light. The only area for improvement would be retitling it from using the word "toy" to "aircraft". I know that's how people outside the hobby look at our aircraft, and although it is true, they aren't toys to us.

Also, one guy posted a comment that it was a waste of money. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but by his logic any recreation or hobby would be a waste. Life is too short and we need to have some fun!!

All in all, I really enjoyed the finished piece and am glad that you enjoyed it!
