Long arms don't really add to stability in a machine that has artificial stability provided by the control board. It would be interesting to see what PID settings are required with full length or half length arms.

Most multirotors have arms just long enough to clear the props.

Hey Helno, I am also very interested to see what the various PID settings will be. I am also interested in how it flies at various motor to motor lengths. I will update the thread when I get there.
I also noticed that you are in Kincardine. I was actually born and raised in Walkerton and my grandparents live in Kincardine

Thanks, Slimdog. I will have more pictures and details as I build. I actually have some pictures from the camera/battery/vTx mounting system that I can put up any time now when I get the time to explain it all.
