Maybe another twist on how FHSS works is that the transmitter and receiver work together hopping from " channel to channel" very quickly and the system selects the best one with the best/clearest reception, so to speak. .
Also my understanding is that the only NA radios that use true FHSS is Airtronics ,Futaba, Graupner and Hitec ( listed alphabeticly).
