Good points you mention there...
I've only briefly tried out RealFlight, cant remember which version it was at the LHS quite some time ago. But good to know the differences btwn the two sims.
I'm going over the training from the flight school on the rchelifun website as you mention in the stages posted; then attempting it on the sim. Its hard to maintain that discipline at times.
I just know that I'm gonna get ---- about getting the set ups just perfectly...then again its a requirement especially dealing with helis.
Speaking of setting up, forgot to purchase both flybar lock and swash plate for the 550nx. I thought I had ordered all that b4 ...d'oh as well as training gear. Heck maybe I'll just make my own and just go to home depot.
