Who has done a body switch on thier cars? I am thinking of getting a truck body for my rc10 b4. I know I will have to fab up some new body mounts and get a body to match my wheel base. Is there any other things I should watch for?

Re: Body Switch
I have my share of buying aftermarket or different type of bodies for my trucks before. As you mentioned, mounting it or where the body post go is important as well as the wheel base. You don't want that off by a few inches. It will look awful and you have make the wheel wells bigger just to accomodate the wheel base. One thing to check before you buy the lexan body, the "width". Will it hide the tires too much or will the tires show. Since you'll be putting it in your stadium truck, it doesn't matter.
When I buy a new lexan, I search dozen of pictures of the same type of RC with aftermarket bodies. When I find the one I like, I'll buy the same kind of body, but color it to the one I like.
