well the body to my tamiya bigwig was in horrible shape. i guess i should of took pics of it before i painted it but i forgot, anyways, it was scraped up badley, lots of paint missing and even a spot that was burnt on it, most of this damage was already done to it before i got it, the burn was my fault.

anyways so as i said it looked bad. all i had on me was silver spray paint, and modeling paints (i use to do models). most of my modle paints where gone bad or i couldnt get open. so i got a red ope that was still good,

i painted the shock mounts, body, and the shocks.

heres the results.
rear shocks

front shocks

entire car

as you can see i kept it simple, after all it is my first paint job.

Re: my first paint job.

The key is practice and keeping it simple.

Grant G. had a good suggestion of using overhead projector clear sheets to practice on. They are much cheaper than clear bodies and if you have a real gem, you could frame and hang it.
Current models: Hobbico Nexstar Electric, Parkzone Spitfire Mk IX , several micros/small helis. Nothing nitro/gas.
