sealing a Robart air tank??
Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I've been chasing an air leak in my TF giant scale P-47. I finally found the leak. The base of the brass nipple where it goes into the air tank! Any suggestions on fixing this? Can I heat it up and flow some solder in there? I'd like to save the tank if possible but it was such a pain to get out of the plane that I will not reinstall it unless I'm convinced that the repair will hold!
Any suggestions? Time to get a new tank?
