MK Quad wideband pre-amp test

I had my MK quad out the other night to test NGHobbies wideband pre-amp. This increases the gain on your video rx. I had two lawmate 1.2 vrx's hooked to my Oracle diversity controller, set to manual operation. I flew out on the non pre-amp until I lost video. I then swithed the Oracle over to the vrx with the powered(12v dc, 3s lipo) pre-amp. The video came back. It worked very well with just the stock antennas. The pre-amp let my video through, un-powered also. If you have a noisy video setup, the pre-amp will intensify the noise. It's important to have a clean video system before using it.
