Well, my dad liked the big spad so much, he ordered a bnf version from Banana Hobby. And I have to admit, it's not a bad little plane. Electric retracts, flaps, speed brakes and all.
I did the maiden this weekend, and what a nice flyer. Very slow, and a full on dirty pass, you could almost walk beside it. Got around 7 mins of mixed flying on a 4S 3850 Nano-Tech.
Unfortunately on the second flight, I was performing a dirty pass, and one of the flap control rods let go, so one flap up, and one flap down. I'm sure you can imagine how that went haha. Anyhow, there was hardly any damage, and we should be up and flying in no time! God love big foam airplanes.
Heres a vid of the maiden.
And here's a compilation video from the warbird meet. Part way through you can see the small crash, with a slow mow replay clearly showing the flap failure.
