I disagree with the above, a 450 or 500 sized helicopter can injure you. I agree e-flite has some good beginner machines. Just not the sr or cx2/4. When you do get to collective pitch, a small and twitchy (nano cpx, or mcpx) helicopter. They are harder to fly but when you crash, and you will crash, they can be picked up and flown again. A 450 or larger size will need money/repairs with each crash...
