I wanna start racing now and was planning on starting with a buggy. The track here has lots of jumps and its all dirt. I'm trying to stay below $600 any recommendations?

Re: Recommended racing buggy?

1/8th scale? Nitro or electric?
1/10th scale? 2wd or 4wd?

Which track are you referring to? There are probably some guys around from whichever track you are talking about that could give you a good idea about which cars are popular there. Having something that other local racers have is usually a good idea. They can help with setup and maybe spares in a pinch.

Re: Recommended racing buggy?

Agreed, go to the track and see what they're racing.

Getting something that other people have means you can get help on the best set up for it.

Re: Recommended racing buggy?

Check with what's popular locally, but for a 1/10th scale 2wd buggy you can't go wrong with an Associated B4.1, Losi 22 or Durango DEX210.
