Transition from cx to mcpx the easy way

I set my dx6i as follows
d/r 35 expo 42
throttle 0 25 40 63 75
pitch 100 100 100 100 100
I now have a fp copter with a slower head speed and nice docile control
which equals a lower repair cost as I learn and get use to the very fine mcpx v2

Re: Transition from cx to mcpx the easy way
Honestly there is no advantage to what you're doing. As a matter of fact, you're taking the advantage of a CP heli OUT of having a CP heli....
A FP heli is no easier to fly than a CP, the biggest advantage to the 300 size fp helis was their lower parts count and because of that, their better durability.
Now with the FBL helis you're getting pretty much the same durability and lower parts counts as the FP but now you've taken the major advantage of the CP heli out... the ability to have negative pitch to control bringing the heli down in wind.
Personally, I'd suggest you put the pitch and throttle curves back to the recommended ones and just add some expo to help tame the stick around center to prevent over controlling.
