Hello all. I am looking for an answerto my problem if it is a problem or not.. I have an origanl( i think ) spe 43 gas engine. I'm using a smart fly sport plus with optical ignition cut . When i turn my ignition switch on the smart fly lights up but it doesnt turn the aux red led on to tell me that I have the ignition on. What am i missing. I made sure all stuff was plugged in the right way. I can try to take pic but dont want people to laugh how small my gas engine is

Solved fiber optic cable was cut poorly...

Too bad the SPE got a bad rap. Two versions made it to North America. One direct from china no QC the other QC'd. Solid powerhouse for the price. If you still have it, that melody ignition has to go...We had all three fail. Swaped out with rcexcel.
Not that that is your problem, I would explore the possibility it may be killing your ignition kill switch.

Hi sorry , just wanted to reply back to you and say thanks any way . I finally figured it out that my fiber optic cable ends were roughly cut and not allowing it to operate properly. So as of right now its ok.. hopefully soon this engine will see gas..
